ليل — The Night
In every culture, night has a name. In Arabic, it is Leyl — ليل — not just the absence of light, but a presence of its own. The hour the medina breathes. The hour the sky finally shows everything it was hiding behind the sun. Poets wrote entire collections about it. Moroccans named their children after it.
Cobalt named this frame Leyl because nothing else could hold what it carries.
Leyl is the widest silhouette in the SUN OBJECT collection — bold tortoise acetate burning with amber and brown, a blue gradient lens that arrives like nightfall over a hot day. Fire in the frame, sky in the lens. The exact moment the sun surrenders and the stars take over.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
SUN OBJECT frames are built to last — treat them with the same intention they were made with.
Clean the lenses daily
Use the microfibre cloth provided. Avoid paper, clothing, or dry surfaces — they carry micro-abrasives that damage lens coatings over time.
Rinse before wiping
If lenses are dusty or sandy, rinse with lukewarm water first. Never wipe dry lenses that have debris on them.
Store in the case
Always return your pair to its hard case when not in use. Leaving frames loose in a bag — even for minutes — is where most damage happens.
Keep away from heat
Do not leave frames in direct sunlight on a dashboard or near a heat source. Acetate warps and lens coatings degrade above 60°C.
Handle with two hands
Opening and closing the arms with one hand repeatedly weakens the hinge. Two hands, always — it takes one second and doubles the lifespan.
