Nur — Champagne
Product Details
نور — The Light
In Arabic, Nur — نور — is not just light. It is the purest form of it. Not the sun, not the flame, not the reflection. Nur is light at its source — before it hits anything, before it becomes a color or a shadow. It is the word used for the light of knowledge, the light of the soul, the light that exists before the eye can even process it.
Cobalt gave this frame that name because of what you see through it.
The vivid yellow lens of Nur doesn't filter the world — it translates it. Everything you look at becomes warmer, more vivid, more present. The dark frame carries centuries of craft in its grain — deep champagne, black running through the acetate like the rings of something ancient. Round but not soft. Geometric edges that catch the light at angles a perfect circle never could.
Nur is for the ones who see differently. Not as a metaphor. Literally — put these on and the world shifts frequency.
That is what Nur means. That is what Nur does.
SUN OBJECT. First light. First frame.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
SUN OBJECT frames are built to last — treat them with the same intention they were made with.
Clean the lenses daily
Use the microfibre cloth provided. Avoid paper, clothing, or dry surfaces — they carry micro-abrasives that damage lens coatings over time.
Rinse before wiping
If lenses are dusty or sandy, rinse with lukewarm water first. Never wipe dry lenses that have debris on them.
Store in the case
Always return your pair to its hard case when not in use. Leaving frames loose in a bag — even for minutes — is where most damage happens.
Keep away from heat
Do not leave frames in direct sunlight on a dashboard or near a heat source. Acetate warps and lens coatings degrade above 60°C.
Handle with two hands
Opening and closing the arms with one hand repeatedly weakens the hinge. Two hands, always — it takes one second and doubles the lifespan.
